To provide a polyamide composition which has excellent rigidity and surface appearance in absorbing water when formed into a molded article and is suitable for high-cycle molding.SOLUTION: There is provided a polyamide composition which comprises 50 pts.mass or more and 99 pts.mass or less of an aliphatic polyamide (A), 1 pt.mass or more and 50 pts.mass or less of a semi-aromatic polyamide (B), 0.05 pt.mass or more and 5.00 pts.mass or less of a higher fatty acid metal salt (C) and 0.01 pt.mass or more and 3.00 pts.mass or less of a fatty acid amide compound (D) based on the total 100 pts.mass of the aliphatic polyamide (A) and the semi-aromatic polyamide (B) containing a diamine unit and a dicarboxylic acid unit, wherein the mass ratio Cw/Dw of the higher fatty acid metal salt (C) to the fatty acid amide compound (D) contained in the polyamide composition is 0.3 or more and 5.0 or less and the carbon number ratio Cn/Dn of the terminal hydrocarbon group of the higher fatty acid metal salt (C) to the fatty acid amide compound (D) is more than 1.00 and 2.00 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】成形品としたときの吸水時の剛性及び表面外観性に優れ、ハイサイクル成形に適した、ポリアミド組成物を提供する。【解決手段】ポリアミド組成物は、脂肪族ポリアミド（Ａ）、及び、ジアミン単位とジカルボン酸単位とを含有する半芳香族ポリアミド（Ｂ）の合計１００質量部に対して、５０質量部以上９９質量部以下の脂肪族ポリアミド（Ａ）と、１質量部以上５０質量部以下の半芳香族ポリアミド（Ｂ）と、０．０５質量部以上５．００質量部以下の高級脂肪酸金属塩（Ｃ）と、０．０１質量部以上３．００質量部以下の脂肪酸アマイド化合物（Ｄ）と、を含有し、ポリアミド組成物に含まれる高級脂肪酸金属塩（Ｃ）と脂肪酸アマイド化合物（Ｄ）の質量比率Ｃｗ／Ｄｗが０．３以上５．０以下であり、且つ、高級脂肪酸金属塩（Ｃ）と脂肪酸アマイド化合物（Ｄ）の末端炭化水素基の炭素数比率Ｃｎ／Ｄｎが１．００超２．００以下である。【選択図】なし
