Zusammenfassung:To provide a rotary electric machine capable of suppressing large-sizing while improving reliability of a seal member.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine comprises an inverter unit 30. The inverter unit 30 includes a cooler 35, and the cooler 35 includes a heat transfer member 50. A passage groove part 56 and a first projection 59 are formed on a first face 50a of the heat transfer member 50. The cooler 35 further includes a lid member 51 and a seal member 52, and a second projection 60 is formed on an opposed face 51a of the lid member 51. A gap between a distal end face 59c and the lid member 51 and a gap between a side face 59b and a side face 60a are filled with the seal member 52, and a fillet 61 is formed at a side edge 52a of the seal member 52.
