CAMERA DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ATTACHING CAMERA DEVICE

To enable a device body to be connected to cables without the need for a worker to hold the same with his hand when installing, making it possible to improve the ease of work.SOLUTION: A camera device comprises: an appropriately discoidal base having a hook part and secured to a plane to which it should be secured; a device body in which a camera part and a connector are mounted, and which is provided with a retractable base hinge that engages with the hook part, allowing for the device body to be suspended from the base by locking the base hinge to the hook part; a locking mechanism provided extending over the device body and the base, which rotates the device body in a direction to approach the base using the hook part engaged with the base hinge as a fulcrum and inseparably locks the device body and the base together while the device body is parallel with the base; and a dome cover assembly which is attached to the device body watertightly covering the camera part and the connector.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】設置時に、装置本体を作業者の手で支持せずにケーブルの接続等を可能とし、作業性を向上させる。【解決手段】カメラ装置は、フック部を有し、被固定面に固定される略円板状の基部と、カメラ部およびコネクタを搭載するとともに、フック部に係止するベースヒンジを進退自在に備え、ベースヒンジをフック部に係止して基部から吊り下げ可能となる装置本体と、装置本体と基部とに亘って設けられ、ベースヒンジを係止したフック部を支点に装置本体を基部に接近する方向に回転させて装置本体が基部と平行となった状態で装置本体と基部とを離反不能に係合する係合機構と、カメラ部およびコネクタを水密に覆って装置本体に取り付けられるドームカバー組立体と、を備える。【選択図】図３
