Zusammenfassung:To provide a guideline for stably controlling a discharge flow from an immersion nozzle so as to reduce surface defects and internal defects in a combination of an electromagnetic stirring device and an electromagnetic brake device in addition to a melt flow required for removing inclusions and air bubbles taken in a shell, and optimizing a flow of the whole casting mold, and to provide a cast manufactured according to the guideline.SOLUTION: There is provided a continuous casting cast in which a solidification structure at a position with a depth of 1 mm to 12 mm from a surface on a long side of a continuous casting cast satisfies a following expression (1): -0.909×D1+12.9≤θ1≤-0.909×D1+22.9. In the expression, θ1 is an average value of an angle (°) to a normal line when a primary dendrite solidification structure is directed to the cast inside from the surface on the long side, and D1 is a distance from the surface on the long side (mm).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 【課題】シェルに取り込まれる介在物や気泡の除去に必要な溶鋼流動のみならず、電磁撹拌装置と電磁ブレーキ装置の組み合わせにおいて浸漬ノズルからの吐出流を表面欠陥及び内部欠陥を低減できるよう安定的に制御し、鋳型内全体の流動を最適化できる指針を提供する。さらには、そのような指針に従って製造された鋳片を提供する。【解決手段】上記課題を解決するために、本発明のある観点によれば、連続鋳造鋳片であって、連続鋳造鋳片の長辺側の表面から深さ1mmから12mmの位置における凝固組織が以下の式(1)を満たすことを特徴とする連続鋳造鋳片が提供される。-0.909×D1+12.9≦θ1≦-0.909×D1+22.9 (1)θ1:一次デンドライト凝固組織が長辺側の表面から鋳片内部に向かう法線となす角度(°)の平均値D1:長辺側の表面からの距離(mm)【選択図】図7
