Zusammenfassung:	To provide a USB cable and a control method for power supply device that can easily reset a sleep state of a power supply device and place the power supply device in a supply state even when the USB cable is neither inserted nor extracted.SOLUTION: A USB cable comprises a first connector which is connected to a power supply device, and has at least a VBUS terminal, a GND terminal and a CC terminal and a second connector which is connected to electronic equipment supplied with electric power from the power supply device, and further comprises a switch part which switches the USB cable from a non-connection state to a connection state to the power supply device to reset a sleep state of the power supply device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】ＵＳＢケーブルの抜き差しを行わない場合であっても、容易に給電装置のスリープ状態を解除して、給電装置を供給状態とすることができるＵＳＢケーブル及び給電装置の制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】給電装置に接続される、少なくともＶＢＵＳ端子、ＧＮＤ端子、ＣＣ端子を有する第１コネクタと、給電装置からの電力が供給される電子機器に接続される第２コネクタと、を備えたＵＳＢケーブルであって、給電装置に対して、ＵＳＢケーブルを非接続状態から接続状態に切り替えて、給電装置のスリープ状態を解除するスイッチ部を備える。【選択図】図１
