To provide a measuring device that can easily perform communication considering privacy.SOLUTION: An illumination device (measuring device) 100 according to the present disclosure is installed on the ceiling in a room or near the ceiling, and transmits measurement data to a receiver 200 in the room by using optical wireless communication.
