Zusammenfassung: | To provide a zoom lens which is advantageous in terms of high optical performance in, for example, a wide angle of view, high zoom ratio, small size, and an entire zoom region.SOLUTION: A zoom lens is composed of a first lens group (B1) of positive refractive power, a second lens group (B2) of negative refractive power, a third lens group (B3) of positive refractive power, and rear groups (B4, B5, B6) in this order from an object side to an image side. The first lens group has a negative lens (B11), a positive lens (B12), and a positive lens (B13) in this order from the object side to the image side. The rear groups have a rn lens group (B4) of negative refractive index, where gaps of adjacent lens groups change for zooming, and lateral magnifications β2t, β2w of the second lens group at a telephoto end and a wide angle end, lateral magnifications β3t, β3w of the third lens group at the telephoto end and the wide angle end, an entire optical length TDt of the zoom lens, focal length ft, fw of the zoom lens at the telephoto end and the wide angle end, and focal length f1 of the first lens group satisfy a prescribed conditional expression.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
