Zusammenfassung: | To provide a piping cutting method which can process piping without causing a malfunction with respect to existing piping in which a protection member is arranged so as to cover a diameter outside part of the piping, a piping cutter and a control method of the piping cutter.SOLUTION: A piping cutting method of this invention using a piping cutter having a cutting part 13 for cutting a wall thickness of piping at existing piping 8 in which a protection material 9 is arranged so as to cover a diameter outside part of the piping 10, and gas flow-in means for making a gas flow into the piping includes: a sending process for moving a cutting part to the other end side from one end side of the piping in a pipe axial direction, and removing a wall thickness of the piping between portions at which the cutting part moves to the other end side from one end side; and a return process for moving the cutting part to one end side from the other end side. A gas is made to flow into the piping by the gas flow-in means at a time except for a time at which the cutting part in at least the sending process out of the sending process and the return process cuts the piping.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
