To provide a technology with which it is possible to perform user operation for each masked region of a marker region in an image captured by a document camera.SOLUTION: A display device comprises an acquisition unit, an identification unit, a generation unit, a display unit, an operation unit, and a display control unit. The acquisition unit acquires a video signal that indicates a captured image in which a document including a plurality of marker regions painted with a marker is imaged by a document camera (S11). The identification unit identifies a plurality of marker regions in the captured image on the basis of the acquired video signal (S12). The generation unit generates a synthetic image in which the plurality of marker regions in the captured image is superimposed by a plurality of object images. The display unit displays the synthetic image (S13). The operation unit accepts user operation.
