Zusammenfassung:To provide a background noise generation device that has simple constitution and is reducible in manufacturing cost, and provides an indoor environment in which outdoor life noise is hardly heard.SOLUTION: A background noise generation device comprises an air flow passage (duct 16C) which is provided in a building so as to link the outside of the building to the inside of a room, and a resistance device which is provided in the air flow passage on a side close to a room, and serves resistance when air passes into the air flow passage. An upwind-side resistance device 2 and a downwind-side resistance device 3 which constitute the resistance device 1X have resistance plates, having through holes (an upwind hole 21 and a downwind hole 31) formed to circulate air to a plate having an outer diameter corresponding to the inner diameter of the air flow passage, respectively, those resistance plates being installed inside the air flow passage. The number of through holes of the upwind-side resistance device and the number of through holes of the downwind-side resistance device are equal to each other, and the through holes of the upwind-side resistance device and the through holes of the downwind-side resistance device face each other, one to one.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】構成が簡単で製造コストを安価にできるとともに、室外からの生活音が聞こえ難い室内環境を実現できるようにした暗騒音発生装置を提供する。【解決手段】本発明は、建物外部と室内とを連通させるために建物に設けられた空気流通路(ダクト16C)と、空気流通路の部屋に近い側の内側に設けられて当該空気流通路の内側に空気が通過する際の抵抗となる抵抗装置とを備え、当該抵抗装置1Xを構成する風上側抵抗装置2及び風下側抵抗装置3は、それぞれ、空気流通路の内径寸法に対応した外径寸法の板に空気を流通させる貫通孔(風上孔21,風下孔31)が形成された抵抗板を有して、これら抵抗板が空気流通路の内側に設置された暗騒音発生装置において、風上側抵抗装置の貫通孔の数と風下側抵抗装置の貫通孔の数とが同数であって、かつ、風上側抵抗装置の貫通孔と風下側抵抗装置の貫通孔とが一対一で向かい合うように構成された暗騒音発生装置とした。【選択図】図3
