Zusammenfassung:	To provide a water-based coating composition which suppresses occurrence of coating streaks, and enables formation of a coated film and drawing that is excellent in finishing property.SOLUTION: A water-based coating composition, which is used for a method for approaching and discharging a coating material to a coated surface by pressing a valve body that is movably formed toward a discharge surface having a discharge port for discharging the coating material, contains (A) a hydroxyl group-containing resin, (B) a pigment and (C) a melamine resin, wherein the melamine resin (C) is hydrophilic.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】本発明は、塗装スジの発生を抑制し、仕上がり性に優れた塗膜の形成や描画ができる水性塗料組成物を提供すること。【解決手段】塗料が吐出される吐出口を有する吐出面に向けて移動可能に形成された弁体を押圧することにより前記塗料を被塗面に近接吐出する方法に使用される水性塗料組成物であって、（Ａ）水酸基含有樹脂、（Ｂ）顔料、及び（Ｃ）メラミン樹脂を含有し、前記メラミン樹脂（Ｃ）が、親水性である、水性塗料組成物。【選択図】なし
