UNDERPANTS-TYPE ABSORBENT ARTICLE

To provide an underpants-type absorbent article preventing loose stool from leaking from a dorsal side.SOLUTION: An outer wrapper of an underpants-type absorbent article comprises, in a dorsal part, a dorsal extension part extending from ventral ends to dorsal ends in the longitudinal direction, a dorsal body part excluding the dorsal extension part from the dorsal part, and a folding part, the boundary part of the dorsal extension part and the dorsal body part, at which the dorsal extension part is folded from the dorsal body part to the ventral part. The dorsal extension part includes a pair of dorsal extension-side edges facing each other in a lateral direction, a plurality of elastic members disposed between the pair of dorsal extension-side edges, extending in the lateral direction and being laterally-shrinkable, and a pair of side reinforcing parts respectively provided at the pair of dorsal extension-side edges of the dorsal extension part and continued from side joint parts. An absorbent body includes an absorbent-body dorsal end, the longitudinal end located at the dorsal part, and an absorbent dorsal area including the absorbent-body dorsal end.
