Zusammenfassung:To provide a printing sheet having a coating layer for ink acceptance over at least one surface of a substrate, the printing sheet having excellent printability and good antistatic performance, less likely to cause problems such as paper jams during printing, and further having excellent properties such as water resistance and weather resistance, in particular, extremely satisfactory adhesion and adhesiveness between the substrate and the coating layer, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: The printing sheet has a coating layer, over one or both sides of the substrate of a continuous phase composed of an acrylic polymer contains clay at a ratio of 35% to 65% by mass and ground calcium carbonate at a ratio of 5% to 30% by mass, and the volume average particle size of the heavy calcium carbonate is 0.05 μm or more and 2.00 μm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】インク受容のためのコート層を基材の少なくとも一方の表面に有する印刷用シートにおいて、印刷適性に優れ、帯電防止性能が良好であって印刷時における紙詰まり等の不具合が生じにくく、更に耐水性、耐候性等の諸特性にも優れた印刷用シート、特に、基材とコート層の密着性・接着性が極めて良好な印刷用シート、及びその製造方法を提供すること。【解決手段】基材の片面又は両面に、アクリル系ポリマーからなる連続相中にクレイが35質量%以上65質量%以下、重質炭酸カルシウムが5質量%以上30質量%以下の割合で配合されてなるコート層を有している印刷用シートであって、前記重質炭酸カルシウムの体積平均粒子径が、0.05μm以上2.00μm以下であることを特徴とする印刷用シートである。【選択図】なし
