To suppress base oil of a lubricant from flowing out to the outside of a region to be lubricated and maintain the performance of a fixing device over a long period.SOLUTION: Provided is a fixing device comprising a rotatable endless film, a heater which is slid on the inner surface of the film via a lubricant, a heater holder for holding the heater, and a pressure member which is contacted under pressure with the heater via the film so as to form a nip part between the heater and itself.
