Zusammenfassung:To provide a cooling device for a vehicle rotary machine provided in a vehicle capable of securing dielectric strength while suppressing increase in a size of the vehicle rotary machine.SOLUTION: Since the drive of an electric oil pump EOP is controlled according to pressure difference ΔP between atmospheric pressure Pair and a pressure reference value P0, the drive of the electric oil pump EOP is appropriately controlled in accordance with the pressure difference ΔP. Accordingly, even if the atmospheric pressure Pair changes, the electric oil pump EOP is driven accordingly, so that stator coils 48 and 55 are adjusted to coil temperature Tcoil corresponding to atmospheric pressure Pair, and dielectric strength Vins of the stator coils 48 and 55 is secured. As a result, it is possible to secure the dielectric strength Vins of the stator coils 48 and 55 while increase in physique of first and second rotary machines MG 1 and MG 2 is suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】車両に備えられる車両用回転機において、車両用回転機の体格が大きくなることを抑えつつ絶縁耐力を確保できる車両用回転機の冷却装置を提供する。【解決手段】大気圧Pairと圧力基準値P0との圧力差ΔPに応じて、電動オイルポンプEOPの駆動が制御されるため、圧力差ΔPに応じて電動オイルポンプEOPの駆動が適切に制御される。従って、大気圧Pairが変化した場合であっても、それに応じて電動オイルポンプEOPが駆動させられることで、ステータコイル48、55が大気圧Pairに応じたコイル温度Tcoilに調整されてステータコイル48、55の絶縁耐力Vinsが確保される。その結果、第1、第2回転機MG1、MG2の体格の増加を抑えつつ、ステータコイル48、55の絶縁耐力Vinsを確保することができる。【選択図】図2
