CENTER SEAL DEVICE

To provide a center seal device that improves workability of cleaning and maintenance, etc.CONSTITUTION: A center seal device is used in a normal pillow packaging machine and seals the overlapped portions of both side edges of a cylindrically formed packaging film protruding below the conveying surface. The center seal device includes a pair of upper plates 23a that constitute a conveying surface, a center sealer 23c arranged below the pair of upper plates for sandwiching and heating both side edges projecting downward from the gap between the pair of upper plates, and a support part 50 that horizontally moves a top plate unit 40 to which a pair of top plates is attached in a direction perpendicular to the transport direction of the packaging film, and supports it so that it can be pulled out to the front side of the packaging machine.
