In the external terminal 41, an intermediate part located between a contact part 42 and a connection part 43 has an intermediate front part 45 and an intermediate rear part 46. An inner diameter of the intermediate front part 45 is larger than an inner diameter of the intermediate rear part 46. In a coaxial connector 1, the inner diameter of the intermediate front part 45 and the inner diameter of the intermediate rear part 46 are respectively set so that characteristic impedance at a position of the intermediate front part 45 is higher than characteristic impedance at a position of the intermediate rear part 46.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
