To provide a heating cooker capable of suppressing a deterioration in the designability of the appearance of an apparatus and securing the visibility of operation information.SOLUTION: One example of a heating cooker includes a body part 16, a heater, a door part 12A, an operation part, and a display area part 14. The body part is internally provided with a heating chamber 20 capable of storing an object to be heated and having an opening part 18 on a front side. The heater heats the object to be heated stored in the heating chamber. The door part has a door inner surface 12Ab having a light transmission area part 38 capable of transmitting visible light to the inside of the heating chamber, and capable of facing the opening part, and is openable and closable with respect to the opening part. The operation part sets an operation state of the heater.
