Zusammenfassung:To provide a double-pipe catalytic reaction pipe and a hydrogen production apparatus capable of suppressing the wear of a catalyst due to thermal expansion.SOLUTION: A double-pipe catalytic reaction pipe 100A has an outer pipe 10, an inner pipe 20 arranged concentrically about the outer pipe 10, and a catalyst 30 packed between the outer pipe 10 and the inner pipe 20. The double-pipe catalytic reaction pipe brings a raw material gas G1 into contact with the catalyst 30 for a chemical reaction. The inner pipe 20 is covered with a first sleeve 50.
