Zusammenfassung:To reduce a manufacturing cost of an outboard engine by simplifying a configuration of the outboard engine.SOLUTION: An engine cover 16 of an outboard engine has an upper cover 34 and a lower cover 36 capable of splitting vertically. A fixing belt 48 capable of fixing the upper cover 34 and the lower cover 36 together is attached to the rear end of the engine cover 16. The upper cover 34 has a belt holding part 46 to hold the fixing belt 48. The belt holding part 46 comprises a holding frame 54 forming a belt insertion hole 64. A head part 68 of the fixing belt 48 has a pair of abutting parts 781 and 782 abutting against an upper surface 60 of a pair of first frame parts 561 and 562 in the holding frame 54.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】船外機の構成を簡素化することで、船外機の製造コストを削減すること。【解決手段】船外機のエンジンカバー16は、上下に分割可能な上カバー34及び下カバー36を有する。エンジンカバー16の後端には、上カバー34と下カバー36とを互いに固定可能な固定ベルト48が取り付けられる。上カバー34は、固定ベルト48を保持するベルト保持部46を有する。ベルト保持部46は、ベルト挿通孔64を形成する保持枠54とを備える。固定ベルト48のヘッド部68は、保持枠54における一対の第1枠部561、562の上面60に当接する一対の当接部781、782を有する。【選択図】図4
