Zusammenfassung:To improve strength to suppress deformation when a refrigerant piping is press fit into a communication port of a refrigerant passage.SOLUTION: A housing for a motor is constituted of: an annular inner cylinder which can accommodate a stator and a rotor of the motor inside; and an outer cylinder which accommodates the inner cylinder inside. A refrigerant passage is formed between the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder. The outer cylinder comprises: a communication port which is formed on an outer peripheral side surface of the outer cylinder and causes the refrigerant piping outside the housing and the refrigerant passage to communicate with each other; and a projection which is formed to project in an outer peripheral direction at a position different from a formation position of the communication port on the outer peripheral side surface. The projection is formed to project along a center line of the communication port. The center line passes through a position deviated from a rotational center of the motor which is accommodated inside the inner cylinder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】強度の向上を図り、冷媒流路の連通口に冷媒配管を圧入する際の変形を抑制する。【解決手段】モータ用ハウジングは、モータのステータ及びロータを内部に収容可能な環状の内筒と、内筒を内部に収容する外筒とにより構成され、内筒と外筒との間に冷媒流路が形成される。外筒は、外筒の外周側面に形成され、ハウジングの外部の冷媒配管と冷媒流路とを連通させる連通口と、外周側面の連通口の形成位置とは異なる位置に、外周方向に突出するように形成される突出部と、を備える。突出部は、連通口の中心線上に沿って突出するように形成される。中心線は、内筒の内部に収容されるモータの回転中心から外れた位置を通過する。【選択図】図4
