ACETAL COMPOUND AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING ALDEHYDE COMPOUND FROM THE ACETAL COMPOUND

To provide: a method for producing 2,3,4,4-tetramethylcyclopentene carbaldehyde which is a production intermediate of (2,3,4,4-tetramethylcyclopentyl)methyl acetate, a sex pheromone of Pseudococcus viburni (general name: Obsucure Mealybug), by using a short-process and industrially viable purification means without using a harmful reagent; and a production intermediate for producing the 2,3,4,4-tetramethylcyclopentene carbaldehyde.SOLUTION: Provided are: a method for producing a compound (2), comprising at least a step of obtaining the acetal compound (2) represented by the following general formula (2) by subjecting an acetal compound (1) represented by the following general formula (1) to a hydrogenation reaction; and a method for producing 2,3,4,4-tetramethylcyclopentene carbaldehyde represented by the following formula (3), comprising subjecting the compound (2) to a hydrolysis reaction.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】有害試薬を使用せずとも、短工程かつ工業的に可能な精製手段を用い、Ｐｓｅｕｄｏｃｏｃｃｕｓｖｉｂｕｒｎｉ（一般名：Ｏｂｓｕｃｕｒｅ Ｍｅａｌｙｂｕｇ）の性フェロモンである（２，３，４，４－テトラメチルシクロペンチル）メチル＝アセテートの製造中間体である２，３，４，４－テトラメチルシクロペンタンカルバルデヒドを製造する方法、及び該２，３，４，４－テトラメチルシクロペンタンカルバルデヒドの製造の為の製造中間体を提供する。【解決手段】下記一般式（１）で表されるアセタール化合物（１）を水素添加反応に付すことにより下記一般式（２）で表されるアセタール化合物（２）を得る工程を少なくとも含む、化合物（２）の製造方法、化合物（２）を加水分解反応に付すことを含む下記式（３）で表される２，３，４，４－テトラメチルシクロペンタンカルバルデヒドの製造方法を提供する。JPEG2023012310000047.jpg37170【選択図】なし
