To provide an information processing system configured to enable smooth work of a user in a management space by reading, through a user terminal, document data related to the management space associated with an electronic lock on which the user has executed locking/unlocking operation using the user terminal, an information processing method, and a program.SOLUTION: An information processing system includes a server, a plurality of user terminals connected to the server over a network, and a plurality of electronic locks connected to the user terminals, respectively.
