To provide a motor unit that suppresses the length of a shaft and the length of a housing in the axial direction of the shaft more than before while suppressing discharge from the shaft and damage to members in contact with the shaft.SOLUTION: A motor unit 1 includes a motor including a rotor 21 and a shaft 22, a housing including the motor, a bearing 41 that rotatably supports the shaft, a resolver 28, and a contact member 6 having electrical conductivity and in contact with the shaft, and the contact member, the resolver, and the bearing are arranged side by side along the axial direction on the other axial side of the shaft on the one axial side.
