Zusammenfassung:To provide a lock mechanism having a reduced number of parts, which allows the cost of parts and man-hours for installation to be reduced.SOLUTION: The lock mechanism of a fitting comprises a body part having an arm to be engaged with a part of a sash of the fitting, a lever handle, and a handle pedestal. A support part for supporting the shaft portion of the lever handle is insertable only at a specified angle to a hole part formed in the handle pedestal. The hole part is provided with a protrusion for restricting the insertion of the support part at angles other than the specified angle.
