PAPER SHEET PROCESSOR

To provide a banknote processor that can reduce defective storage of paper sheets in a drum even when the paper sheets are wound onto the drum with a tightened pitch between paper sheets.SOLUTION: A banknote processor includes: a transport passage 20 that transports a paper sheet S; an identification unit that identifies the paper sheet S being transported in the transport passage 20; a drum-type storage and delivery device for storing the paper sheets S conveyed in the transport passage 20 by wrapping them around the drum one by one, and delivering them from the drum; and paper sheet length detection means for detecting a length of the paper sheet S along a storing and delivering direction of the paper sheet S to the drum-type storage and delivery device. The identification unit has an entire surface information acquisition sensor 301 that acquires information on the entire surface of the paper sheet S transported in the transport passage 20, and outputs an angular coordinate position of the paper sheet S based on the information on the entire surface of the paper sheet S.
