The keying member 20 has a keying part 27, and it plays a role for permitting only an appropriate mating connector to be inserted into the connector fitting part 12. The keying member 20 is inserted into the connector fitting part 12 except for a flange part 23. 【課題】キーイング判別の視認性向上と耐ＥＭＣ性能の向上とを両立させたコネクタを提供する。【解決手段】コネクタ１は、基体１０とキーイング部材２０とを有する。基体１０は、導電性の金属ダイキャスト製であって、相手コネクタの差込みを受けるコネクタ嵌合部１２を有する。また、キーイング部材２０は、キーイング部２７を有し、適合する相手コネクタのみコネクタ嵌合部１２への差込みを許容する役割を担っている。このキーイング部材２０は、鍔部２３を除き、コネクタ嵌合部１２内に挿し込まれている。このキーイング部材２０は樹脂製であって、キーイング部２７の形状に応じた色を有する。【選択図】図３ |
