To provide configuration in which an inspection terminal is left in a final product, in a liquid crystal display device including an irregular-shape display area.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device is provided, in which a display area 10 has irregular-shape, an external shape of a counter substrate 200 and an external shape of a TFT substrate 100 have irregular shape substantially similar to the display area 10, a terminal area formed on the TFT substrate 100 includes a linear first area, and a second area and a third area which are bent to the first area, arranged at both sides of the first area.
