Zusammenfassung: | To solve the problem in which: for HDR image composition using a dual gain system, a correctly exposed image and an underexposed image are different in the CDS time indicated by the time difference between the timing for reading a reset signal from a photoelectric conversion unit and the timing for reading an image signal; consequently, it is not easy to determine, as the frequency of the source of noise generated during an operation to read the image signal, the optimal value for preventing lateral stripe noise from being generated on both the correctly exposed image and the underexposed image.SOLUTION: To solve the above-mentioned problem, the present invention relates to an imaging apparatus having reading control means that sets the timing for the CDS time to the different CDS times of a correctly exposed image and an underexposed image so that the difference between the CDS times falls within a predetermined time range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
【課題】デュアルゲイン方式によるHDR画像合成に対しては、光電変換部からリセット信号を読み出すタイミングと画像信号を読み出すタイミングとの時間差で示されるCDS時間が、適正露出画像と露出アンダー画像とでそれぞれ異なる。そのため、画像信号の読み出し動作中に発生するノイズ源の周波数として、適正露出画像と露出アンダー画像の両方に横縞ノイズがのらないようにするための最適値を容易に決定できない。【解決手段】 上記の課題を解決するために、本発明は、適正露出画像と露出アンダー画像とでそれぞれ異なるCDS時間に対して、CDS時間どうしの差異が所定の時間範囲に収まるように、CDS時間のタイミングを設定する読み出し制御手段を有することを特徴とする撮像装置。【選択図】 図8 |
