Zusammenfassung:	To provide an industrially feasible and efficient production method of 2-methyl-N-(2'-methylbutyl)butanamide which is a pheromone of MFLB.SOLUTION: A production method of 2-methyl-N-(2'-methylbutyl)butanamide at least comprises: a step to obtain an N-α-arylethyl-2-methyl-N-(2'-methylbutyl)butanamide compound represented by a general formula (3) (in the formula, Ar represents a 6-20C substituted or unsubstituted aryl group) by N-2-methylbutyrylation of an α-arylethyl-2-methylbutylamine compound represented by a general formula (2) (in the formula, Ar is defined as above); and a step to obtain 2-methyl-N-(2'-methylbutyl)butanamide represented by a formula (1) by deprotection of the α-arylethyl group of the obtained compound (3).SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】工業的に実施可能で、効率的な、ＭＦＬＢのフェロモンである２－メチル－Ｎ－（２'－メチルブチル）ブタナミドの製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】下記一般式（２）（式中、Ａｒは炭素数６－２０の置換または無置換のアリール基を表す。）で表されるα－アリールエチル－２－メチルブチルアミン化合物をＮ－２－メチルブチリル化することにより、下記一般式（３）（式中、Ａｒは上記で定義した通りである。）で表されるＮ－α－アリールエチル－２－メチル－Ｎ－（２'－メチルブチル）ブタナミド化合物を得る工程と、得られた化合物（３）のα－アリールエチル基の脱保護により、下記式（１）で表される２－メチル－Ｎ－（２'－メチルブチル）ブタナミドを得る工程とを少なくとも含む２－メチル－Ｎ－（２'－メチルブチル）ブタナミドの製造方法である。JPEG2022187251000094.jpg40170【選択図】なし
