Zusammenfassung:To provide a nonwoven fabric that has pleasant touch and has an excellent property of concealing a color of a body fluid.SOLUTION: A nonwoven fabric is made of split fibers in which two or more different types of resins are continuously disposed in a longer direction of the fiber and the resins are disposed in a circumferential direction of the fiber so that the resins can be separated from each other. The nonwoven fabric has a fusion point between fibers. A split portion formed by completely separating the resins and a non-split portion in which the resins are not completely separated are alternately formed in the longer direction of the fiber in the split fiber. A cross-sectional shape at the non-split portion of the split fiber is flat and a long axis of a cross section is oriented in a direction along a surface of the nonwoven fabric. Also provided is a method for manufacturing the nonwoven fabric by sequentially applying air-through treatment, first pressing treatment, and second pressing treatment that applies lower pressure than that used in the first pressing treatment on a fiber web including the split fibers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】肌触りが良好で、体液の色の隠蔽性に優れた不織布を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明の不織布は、異なる2種類以上の樹脂が繊維の長手方向に連続的に配され且つ該各樹脂が繊維の周方向に配されており、各樹脂間が離間可能に構成されている分割繊維を原料とする。不織布は繊維どうしの融着点を有する。分割繊維は、各樹脂間が完全離間して形成された分割部と、各樹脂間が完全に離間していない非分割部とが、該繊維の長手方向に交互に形成されている。分割繊維は、非分割部における横断面形状が扁平であり、且つその横断面の長軸が前記不織布の面に沿う方向に配向している。本発明は、分割繊維を含む繊維ウエブにエアスルー処理、第1の押圧処理、及び第1の押圧処理よりも押圧の程度が低い第2の押圧処理を順次施して、前記不織布を製造する方法も提供する。【選択図】図1
