PROLIFERATION-PROMOTING AGENTS FOR STAPHYLOCOCCUS EPIDERMIS AND MICROORGANISM-SELECTIVE PROLIFERATION-PROMOTING AGENTS

To provide techniques for promoting the proliferation of Staphylococcus epidermis, or for promoting the proliferation of Staphylococcus epidermis without promoting the proliferation of one or more microorganisms selected from Staphylococcus aureus, Malassezia globosa, Cutibacterium acnes, and Candida albicans.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a proliferation promoting agent for Staphylococcus epidermis comprising 1-kestose as an effective ingredient. According to the invention, it is possible to promote the proliferation of useful microorganisms without promoting the proliferation of useless or harmful microorganisms for skin health.
