To properly sanitize a toilet seat in a simple configuration suppressing size and cost increases of the toilet seat device.SOLUTION: A toilet seat device includes a toilet seat, a toilet lid for covering the toilet seat in a closed state, a plurality of ultraviolet light-emitting devices attached to the back side of the toilet lid, and a control device for controlling the plurality of ultraviolet light-emitting devices to apply ultraviolet light to a seating face of the toilet seat, with the toilet seat closed.
