A waveform conversion circuit 40 converts the rectangular-wave transmission signal generated by the control unit 10 into a trapezoidal-wave transmission signal. A waveform switching circuit 50 switches on/off of a waveform conversion operation by the waveform conversion circuit 40. A driving circuit 80 outputs the trapezoidal-wave transmission signal to a communication line when the waveform switching circuit 50 turns on the waveform conversion operation, and outputs the rectangular-wave transmission signal to the communication line when the waveform switching circuit 50 turns off the waveform conversion operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
