Zusammenfassung:	To provide a device and a method for treating oxygen capable of efficiently reducing oxygen concentration in a reactor containment vessel.SOLUTION: An oxygen treatment device for treating oxygen in a reactor containment vessel includes: an oxygen treatment vessel; an oxygen treatment material that is filled in the oxygen treatment vessel and reacts with oxygen to form an oxide; a heating device for heating the oxygen treatment material; a gas introduction pipe for introducing a gas into the oxygen treatment vessel from inside of the reactor containment vessel; and a gas return pipe for returning the gas from inside of the oxygen treatment vessel into the reactor containment vessel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】原子炉格納容器内の酸素濃度を効率良く低減することのできる酸素処理装置及び酸素処理方法を提供する。【解決手段】原子炉格納容器内の酸素を処理する酸素処理装置であって、酸素処理容器と、前記酸素処理容器内に充填され、酸素と反応して酸化物となる酸素処理材と、前記酸素処理材を加熱するための加熱装置と、前記原子炉格納容器内から前記酸素処理容器内にガスを導入するガス導入配管と、前記酸素処理容器内から前記原子炉格納容器内にガスを戻すガス戻り配管と、を具備している。【選択図】図１
