Zusammenfassung: | To provide a camera unit with reduced factors that impede the operation of a camera module.SOLUTION: A camera unit comprises: a camera module including a sensor substrate 13 on which an image pickup device is installed; a holder frame 40 in which the camera module is accommodated; a case 50 for accommodating the holder frame 40; and a wiring board 20 which is connected to the sensor substrate 13 and transmits a signal output by the image pickup device. The wiring board 20 comprises a plurality of connections 21, 22, 23, 24, and a main body part 25 connected to the sensor substrate 13 via the connections. The main body part 25 includes an insertion end part 26 to be inserted below the sensor substrate 13 and a lead-out end part 27 to be pulled out of the case 50. The connections 21, 22, 23, 24 are arranged between the sensor substrate 13 and the insertion end part 26, in the vicinity of an optical axis L, and connect the sensor substrate 13 and the insertion end part 26 in a duplicate region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
