Zusammenfassung: | To provide a connection part cover the heat-retaining property of which is high, and a wave-shaped cladding tube of which is less likely to come off from the connection part cover, to provide a production method of the same, and to provide a protection method of a connection part.SOLUTION: A connection part cover 1 for protecting a connection parts of inner tubes (61, 62) cladded by wave-shaped cladding tubes (71, 72) includes a pair of half-split cylindrical bodies (10A, 10B). A plurality of ribs extending in a circumferential direction at a pitch same as a pitch of valley parts of the wave-shaped cladding tubes are formed in inner surfaces of parts constituting cladding tube storage parts (20, 30) of the half-split cylindrical bodies. When the pair of half-split cylindrical bodies are in a closed state, the ribs of the pair of corresponding half-split cylindrical bodies are connected to make an annular shape, and are continuously engaged with the valley parts of the wave-shaped cladding tubes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
