Zusammenfassung: | To solve the problem in which: a reduction in processing load and an increase in image quality of a binary image are desired in reading of a document.SOLUTION: An image reading device comprises: a reading unit; a control unit that controls reading performed by the reading unit; and a storage unit. When the reading unit reads a document in the same format as that of a document it read in the past, the control unit divides an area of read image data generated by the reading unit through the current reading into a first area and a second area, based on image data of the first area of the read image data and image data of the first area stored in the storage unit according to the past reading of the document in the same format, determines a first threshold for binarization and stores the image data of the first area of the read image data in the storage unit, binarizes the image data of the first area of the read image data by using the first threshold, and binarizes image data of the second area of the read image data by using a second threshold as a fixed value stored in the storage unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】帳票の読取において処理負担軽減と二値画像の画質向上とが望まれている。【解決手段】画像読取装置は、読取部と、前記読取部による読取を制御する制御部と、記憶部と、を備え、前記制御部は、前記読取部が、過去に読み取った帳票と同一形式の帳票を読み取った場合に、前記読取部が今回の帳票の読み取りにより生成した読取画像データの領域を第1領域と第2領域とに分類し、前記読取画像データの前記第1領域の画像データと、前記同一形式の帳票の過去の読取に応じて前記記憶部に記憶した前記第1領域の画像データと、に基づいて、二値化のための第1しきい値を決定し、かつ、前記読取画像データの前記第1領域の画像データを前記記憶部に記憶させ、前記読取画像データの前記第1領域の画像データを、前記第1しきい値を用いて二値化し、前記読取画像データの前記第2領域の画像データを、前記記憶部に記憶された固定値としての第2しきい値を用いて二値化する。【選択図】図5 |
