Zusammenfassung:To inexpensively provide a frequency conversion transmission system capable of transmitting broadcast channels of BS/CS left-handed circular IF signals even when an existing transmittable frequency band is within 2150 MHz or 2602 MHz.SOLUTION: A frequency converter 10 performs down-conversion of a frequency band for UHF terrestrial digital broadcasting signals to a lower frequency band, performs down-conversion of a frequency band for BS left-handed or CS left-handed circular IF reception signals to a vacant frequency band caused by the down-conversion of the frequency band for UHF terrestrial digital broadcasting signals, and then, performs transmission. A terminal 22 inputs BS left-handed or CS left-handed circular IF reception signals obtained by returning transmitted IF reception signals to the original frequency band and UHF terrestrial digital broadcasting signals obtained by frequency conversion, to a TV 23. The TV 23 is made to be capable of receiving the UHF terrestrial digital broadcasting signals obtained by the frequency conversion using a pass-through function.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】 既存の伝送できる周波数帯が2150MHzあるいは2602MHzまでであっても、BS・CS左旋IF信号の放送チャンネルを伝送することができる周波数変換伝送システムを安価で提供すること。【解決手段】 周波数変換装置10は、UHF地デジ信号の周波数帯を低い周波数帯にダウンコンバートすると共に、BS左旋あるいはCS左旋のIF受信信号の周波数帯を、UHF地デジ信号の周波数帯がダウンコンバートされて空いた周波数帯にダウンコンバートして伝送する。端末機22は、伝送されてきたIF受信信号を元の周波数帯に戻したBS左旋あるいはCS左旋のIF受信信号と、周波数変換されたUHF地デジ信号とをTV23に入力する。TV23は、パススルーの機能により周波数変換されたUHF地デジ信号が受信可能とされている。【選択図】 図1
