Zusammenfassung:To provide a method for separately supplying a continuous phase liquid and a dispersed phase liquid to a micro-channel chip and sending the liquids at a negative pressure, and stably forming an emulsion without using an air bubble trap.SOLUTION: In a micro-channel chip 10, dispersed phase liquid holding units 102, 103 are connected with an emulsion forming unit 120 through a dispersed phase liquid channel 117; a continuous phase liquid holding unit 101 is connected with the emulsion forming unit 120; the emulsion forming unit 120 is connected with an exhaust port 150 through an emulsion channel 130. A method includes, with the application of negative pressure to the exhaust port 150, in the emulsion forming unit 120, generating an emulsion including droplets formed of the dispersed phase liquid and a continuous phase formed of the continuous phase liquid, and causing the emulsion to enter the emulsion channel 130. Before the application of negative pressure, the dispersed phase liquid and the continuous phase liquid are brought into contact with each other in the emulsion forming unit 120 or the upstream thereof not through an air bubble trap, and the application of negative pressure is performed within 30 seconds.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】連続相液と分散相液とを別個にマイクロ流路チップに供給して陰圧で送液する方法において、気泡トラップを用いずにエマルジョンを安定して形成する。【解決手段】マイクロ流路チップ10において、分散相液保持部102,103が分散相液流路117を介してエマルジョン形成部120に接続しており、連続相液保持部101がエマルジョン形成部120に接続しており、エマルジョン形成部120がエマルジョン流路130を介して排出口150に接続しており、排出口150への陰圧の適用によって、エマルジョン形成部120において、分散相液から構成される液滴及び連続相液から構成される連続相を含むエマルジョンを生成し、エマルジョン流路130に進入させること、を含み、陰圧の適用の前に分散相液と連続相液とをエマルジョン形成部120又はその上流で気泡トラップを介さずに接触させ、30秒以内に陰圧の適用を行うことを特徴とする、方法。【選択図】図1
