To collect waste toner with a simple and low-cost configuration.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: an intermediate transfer belt 15B that revolves while holding toner; a blade 31 that is in contact with the intermediate transfer belt 15B; a waste toner container 33; and a guide member 34 that guides waste toner to the waste toner container 33. The guide member 34 includes: a receiving port 34A that receives waste toner scraped off from the intermediate transfer belt 15B by the blade 31; a discharge port 34B that is provided below the receiving port 34A, is smaller than the receiving port 34A, and is connected with the waste toner container 33; and a hollow part 34H that has a tapered shape from the receiving port 34A toward the discharge port 34B.
