Zusammenfassung:To provide a magnetic recording medium capable of containing magnetic particles having a fine crystal gain size in a surface layer of a magnetic recording layer and in the vicinity thereof.SOLUTION: A magnetic recording medium according to the present invention includes a substrate and a magnetic recording layer containing magnetic particles having a L10 structure.
