Zusammenfassung:	To provide a water-based paint in which an abnormality in appearance such as agglomeration in the formed coating film and a deterioration in physical property are suppressed, and has improved flame retardancy.SOLUTION: Provided is a water-based paint that contains lignocellulose modified with a flame-retardant compound having a specific structural formula, water as a volatile component, and a synthetic resin as a coating film-forming component. Examples of the flame retardant compound include N,N'-(6-amino-1,3,5-triazine-2,4-diyl)bis(phosphoramidic acid)tetra(2,4,6-tribromophenyl).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】成膜した塗膜における凝集などの外観の異常と、物性の低下とが抑えられ、難燃性が向上した水性塗料を提供する。【解決手段】特定の構造式を備える難燃性化合物で修飾されたリグノセルロースと、揮発成分である水と、塗膜を形成する成分である合成樹脂とを含有する水性塗料である。前記難燃性化合物としては、例えば、N,N'-（6-アミノ-1,3,5-トリアジン-2,4-ジイル）ビス(ホスホルアミド酸)テトラ（2,4,6-トリブロモフェニル）が挙げられる。【選択図】図１
