INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD

To provide an information processing apparatus that can easily execute a job based on setting history information through a setting screen desired by a user and has high convenience.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus comprises a display, a storage unit, and a control unit. The control unit displays, on the display, any one screen of an execution screen for receiving a job execution instruction and a simplified execution screen obtained by simplifying the details of display of the execution screen. The storage unit stores history information on the job for which the execution instruction is received through either one screen of the execution screen or the simplified execution screen.
