Zusammenfassung:To suppress deterioration of fuel economy caused by driving of a vacuum pump.SOLUTION: An engine system includes an exhaust pipe 54 through which exhaust gas flows, an EGR valve 24 which is operated with the usage of negative pressure, a vacuum pump 6 which supplies negative pressure to the EGR valve 24 with using an engine body as a driving source, piping 76 which connects an intake port 6a of the vacuum pump 6 and the EGR valve 24, piping 78 which connects the exhaust pipe 54 and the intake port 6a of the vacuum pump 6, and an on-off valve 80 which is provided in the piping 78 and can be switched between a communication state where the exhaust pipe 54 and the vacuum pump 6 are communicated with each other and a shutoff state where the exhaust pipe 54 and the vacuum pump 6 are shut off from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】バキュームポンプの駆動による燃費の悪化を抑制する。【解決手段】エンジンシステムは、排気が流通する排気管54と、負圧を用いて作動するEGRバルブ24と、エンジン本体を駆動源としてEGRバルブ24に負圧を供給するバキュームポンプ6と、バキュームポンプ6の吸気口6aとEGRバルブ24とを接続する配管76と、排気管54とバキュームポンプ6の吸気口6aとを接続する配管78と、配管78に設けられ、排気管54とバキュームポンプ6とを連通する連通状態と排気管54とバキュームポンプ6とを遮断する遮断状態との間で切り替え可能な開閉弁80とを備える。【選択図】図3
