Zusammenfassung: | To suppress deterioration of fuel economy caused by driving of a vacuum pump.SOLUTION: An engine system includes an exhaust pipe 54 through which exhaust gas flows, an EGR valve 24 which is operated with the usage of negative pressure, a vacuum pump 6 which supplies negative pressure to the EGR valve 24 with using an engine body as a driving source, piping 76 which connects an intake port 6a of the vacuum pump 6 and the EGR valve 24, piping 78 which connects the exhaust pipe 54 and the intake port 6a of the vacuum pump 6, and an on-off valve 80 which is provided in the piping 78 and can be switched between a communication state where the exhaust pipe 54 and the vacuum pump 6 are communicated with each other and a shutoff state where the exhaust pipe 54 and the vacuum pump 6 are shut off from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
