APPLICATION REQUEST RESOURCE PREDICTING METHOD AND PREDICTING SYSTEM

To provide an application request resource predicting method and predicting system capable of predicting the resources of an application and of an infrastructure that will be necessary in future under a situation in which the resources of the infrastructure or the application suddenly change.SOLUTION: This method excludes an impact of a sudden change in metrics due to the tightness or excess of resources from the past metrics of an application or an infrastructure, and estimates and corrects the metrics within a time period at which the impact is present using the number of requests to the application within such a time period and the metrics before and after such a time period, thereby predicting necessary resources in future without an impact due to a sudden change in the metrics.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 【課題】インフラ基盤またはアプリケーションのリソースの急変がある状況でも、将来必要となるアプリケーションやインフラ基盤のリソースを予測可能なアプリ要求リソース予測方法及び予測システムを提供する。【解決手段】方法は、過去のアプリケーションまたはインフラ基盤のメトリクスから、リソースの逼迫や余剰などによるメトリクスの急変の影響を除き、影響あった期間のメトリクスを、当該期間のアプリケーションへのリクエスト数および当該機関の前後のメトリクスを用いて推定し補正することで、メトリクスの急変による影響なく、将来の必要リソースを予測する。【選択図】図７
