WASTE DISPOSAL SYSTEM AND WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD

To provide a waste disposal system and a waste disposal method that can properly and effectively dispose of a wide variety of wastes.SOLUTION: A waste disposal system includes: a dryer 10 that is equipped with an agitator and stirs, subdivides and dries charged raw material to produce a dried product; and a hot air generator 40 that supplies hot air to the dryer 10 for drying. The raw material is waste. The dried product is classified into material for organic fertilizer, fermentation material, or material unsuitable for fertilizer/fermentation in accordance with properties of the raw material. The hot air generator 40 uses a non-fossil fuel as its fuel.
