To provide a pharmaceutical composition for treatment and prevention of brain diseases, aging-related diseases, liver diseases, tumors and sarcopenia that are caused by generation of active oxides.SOLUTION: The pharmaceutical composition comprises proanthocyanidin represented by the formula in the figure and having a degree of polymerization of 50-65.
