MAP INFORMATION OUTPUT DEVICE AND MAP INFORMATION OUTPUT METHOD

To provide a map information output device which can suppress the occurrence of inconveniences in driving control.SOLUTION: A map information output device comprises: a rule selection unit 42 for sequentially selecting one road selection rule from a plurality of road selection rules; a target road selection unit 43 for selecting, on the basis of the road selection rule selected by the rule selection unit 42 and a vehicle position, a target road for which map information for control that is used for automated driving control is constructed, as well as selecting a target road for which map information for control is constructed also with regard to another road selection rule which is different from the road selection rule selected by the rule selection unit 42; a map information construction unit 44 for sequentially constructing map information for control; and a map information output unit 45 for sequentially outputting the map information for control.
