Zusammenfassung:To provide a manufacturing method of reduced iron capable of efficiently manufacturing reduced iron without preheating a raw material in advance.SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of reduced iron, an agglomerated material, which is a raw material of reduced iron, is loaded in a reducing furnace and a reducing gas containing hydrogen as the main component is introduced into the reducing furnace and thus iron oxide contained in the agglomerated material is reduced by the reducing gas to obtain the reduced iron. The agglomerated material keeps heat given when produced and the heat is used for reduction of the iron oxide.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】事前に原料を予熱することなく、還元鉄を効率的に製造することができる還元鉄の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】還元鉄の原料となる塊成物を還元炉に装入するとともに、水素を主成分とする還元ガスを還元炉に導入して、還元ガスにより塊成物に含まれる酸化鉄を還元して還元鉄を得る還元鉄の製造方法において、還元炉に装入する塊成物は、その製造時に得た熱を保有する塊成物であり、上記熱を酸化鉄の還元反応に利用することを特徴とする。【選択図】なし
